First, you need a catchy name for the website, something easy to remember, like barbaraswines.com- I checked and that domain name is still available. You can register both with the same ISP so that whichever site is entered in the adress bar, you still go to the same home page. Secondly, you should set your links to open a new browser window, so visitors don\’t have to keep hitting the BACK button to get back to your page.
I would use wine labels as icons for the links, people like visuals.
Use a different color for the page background- gray is very drab, bright colors gets people excited.
Get some interviews up there with winemakers that you know, it will increase hits on the site when people are googling wine terms and will increase your exposure.
